also the face is ovalish/diamond i'm not exactly sure.

with a high forehead, and are side bangs possible for this type of hair, especially since its curly

Well I'm sorry I don't have a picture to explain but depending on the length of your hair usually sporadic layers are good for curly hair to take the bulky look out and adding layers to your hair will surprisingly sometimes give you a style to work with. Side bangs are perfect for a high forehead and parting them from the arch in your eye brow over will conceal the forehead more. Oval shaped face people can have short hair it just takes someone that knows what short cut fits there features and with curly hair if the hair is really curly and it is just layered at the bottom and not throughout it can make the hair look wider and poofy which isn't probably what most people want! keep it longer otherwise you'll look like a poodle and bangs will work but make sure your commited to flat ironing or blowing them out everday!

I have hair like you and I got it cut today and it looks really cute. I got it cut to shoulder length and side bangs. The side bangs will work but you have to straighten them almost every day, which is pretty easy, actually. Or you can keep them curly and clip them to side or something. They definetly work, just dont get them too short because it will look even shorter once they are curly again because curls make the hair sort of bounce up. I got mine to start from under the eye and then like layered side bangs to blend into my hair, really cute! And high foreheads are perfect for bangs! You should consider getting side bangs, it will look really cute! ;)
