Is there a good way to get rid of split ends without cutting my hair?
Sorry no. You do need to cut your hair and then after the cut condition, condition, condition. Try a deep conditioner once a week and a one for dry hair every time you wash. Also try only washing your hair 3 times a week as apposed to everyday.

the only way is to have a trim. serums and conditioners will tame them down but wont get rid of them.only mask them.

No you're gonna have to get a trim, but once you trim the dead ends, your hair will grow faster.

Try using Alberto VO5 hairdressing, use just a small amount on the Ends, the size of a pea.
Once a week at Night, use a 'dollop' of the product and slick your hair back with it and sleep with a Towel around your Pillow and in the morning, shampoo it out.
That should work

Try Redken Extreme - Anti-Snap leave in treatment. You can get it at most salons. I have a problem with broken ends or ends that break off easy and my hairdresser recommended this. I love it. Not only does it repair my damaged hair and prevent it from happening more, it also smells Soooooo good!!! It's about $15 a bottle but it lasts a while.

i wish i could say yes, as someone that studied cosmetology, i can say that -conditioners contain a wax or similar product that temporaily makes the hair look better, and seems to get rid of the split ends. But in reality, they're only a temporary fix...sorry, but you have to get your ends trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks 1/4 inch...put it this way, my husband never wanted me to trim my daughter's hair...and split ends have a way of splitting more and more...further and further up the hair shaft...so eventually, the hair looks frizzy and dried out...and the longer you put off having your hair "trimmed" (not cut) the more you'll have to get off in the long run...

I have a solution, but you will have to cut your hair, in a way... I have very long hair, I cut it maybe 2 times a year. What I do is cut my hair one by one, but only the split ones, or the ones that don't look healthy. I have a tiny scissors on my tiny "swiss knife" that is attached to my keys, so it's always with me. I do it in boring situations, such as traveling by bus, or waiting in line, or whenever I notice a split hair. It works, good luck!

I know you don't want to hear this but no...they have to be trimmed. I am going through the same thing with my daughter. She wants her hair to grow out but will not let me trim those split ends. Make you an appt. and tell the hairdresser to absolutely trim the dead ends only. There is no conditioner or magic potion that will take them away...its getting them trimmed sweetie....I am a hairdresser and i am asked this question alot. If you don't get dead ends trimmed they will split all the way up the hair shaft resulting in frizzies or fly aways, but a simple trim of the ends will keep you from having to have more of it trimmed off as the splits will simply keep splitting, resulting in more of your length taken off when it could have been avoided altogether at the first sign of dead ends. Great question!! Also, after you get the ends trimmed , do condition regularly paying close attention to the ends will help prevent from splitting farther up the strands of hair. Be very careful in your choice of words to your hairdresser....for a simple trim...don't use the word cut or he/she may take that as you want more than an inch taken off. Let them know its just a trim...and make that very clear. Hope this helps you.---Sheriee
