my hair right now is dark brownish but not black... I was thinking something like an ash blonde highlights and platinum highlights .. but just on the top part of my hair in the middle.. and cut short all over.. with the colored part a little longer.. anyone have any other / better idea's ?

First you should get it layered, and then get almond [goldish color]
