I'm a Sikh, i know there are rules that say you shouldn't cut your hair if you are a Keshdhari or an Amritdhari, otherwise you are allowed to trim your hair. Anyway think of it as you are trying to grow your hair because if you have split ends your hair will not grow properly and will remain weak. So, the best thing is to trim a little bit, that's what I did because my hair became really weak and i had a lot of split ends!!

Hey, I am sikh too... and btw we are not allowed to cut our hair. Please don't listen to our friend Sim here, its against the religion. Anyways... I suggest u should change your hair shampoo and conditioners... that helps...

I don't know for sure, but I think there is a shampoo that could prevent split ends. Or at least make the hair healthier. Look around at shampoos.

You can't get rid of split ends unless you cut them off. To avoid getting split ends, avoid curling irons, blow dryers, flat irons or any heat hair tool. Condition your hair well and be easy brushing your hair.

the problem of splits can be solved by not resorting to detergent based shampoos n conditioners. instead have vitamin e and consult a dermatologist.

nourish ur hair..use almond oil..massage ur scalp with it...use a good conditioner..but see if u can go for a little trim..i understand u r a sikhni..but darling..im sure u dont want to have unhealthy hair..if ur mom has a prob..talk to her.tell her its the best solution..or else keep a proper hair care regimen..see if it helps..but u gotto trim dear...

Once you have them they wont go away. The best way to avoid them is condition, do not brush when wet and let air dry. Try to use a wide tooth comb instead of a brush.
