All my friends in High School cut there own hair to get the look they want, plus you save lots of money, look fresh everyday etc. Can you teach me the basics of hair cutting? Like how clippers, etc works.

i suggest u forget about what ur friends are doing

and go to a pro its worth the money

however my mom is a pro hair stylist so if u would like i can tell u how to cut ur hair ur self for she has taught me the basics

I think you should just go to a pro. You don't want to risk messing up, and as for the cost, it is worth it.

Don't. If your shears aren't sharp enough it'll cause split ends. If you mess up you have to deal with it yourself. I'm a hairstylist and the only time I ever cut my own hair was when I was 4 years old. I wouldn't recommend cutting your hair yourself.
