If you like it then its not a bad haircut and you can always use accessories to make your hair look better. or if you feel that bad a hat is always good or just clip it back.

If you like it, then thats all that really matters. I'm sure it looks perfectly fine - sometimes when you undergo a drastic change like that, it takes awhile to get over the "shock factor"
Even if other people are shocked, they'll get over it after a day or so. Who cares what others think!
